I've created this blog to keep intrested people in the loop as Jeff, Lars and I travel through Europe. I'm making it public incase anyone else wants to see it, but this is mostly for me so I have a memory of this later. Don't expect perfect grammar or great writing, just a raw unfiltered stream of updates and thoughts about the trip.
In order to understand what were getting ourselves into let me list what we have so far:
1. Plane Ticket to Madrid, leaving on the 6th, returning on the 28th.
2. Eurorail pass 8 days of travel time
3. Plane Ticket from Rome to Madrid on the 28th.
4. We apparently just booked a hostel for Tuesday night (not Monday) but I wasn't involved with that.
This is the extent of our planning. That and knowing the approximate route are the 4 things set in stone right now. We'll be going Madrid, Barcelona, ..., Geneva, ..., Italy, ... and possibly staying with Kate's very kind parents in Geneva.
